Scope and Types of Appraisals
We provide professional valuation based on your specific requirement - INSPECTED or UNINSPECTED - all in conformity in all respects to the Code of Ethics and Standards and Procedures of Professional Appraisal Practice of the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers.
Inspected Appraisal:
The scope of work includes personal site or plant visit, inspection of the machinery's appearance and condition, review of documentation and history of the equipment, interview with corporate and plant management, extensive product research and value determination. Depending on the intended use of the appraisal, it may include Market Values, Orderly or Forced Liquidation Values, or New Replacement Values of the machines being appraised.
Un-Inspected Appraisal:
An uninspected appraisal is a professional opinion of the appropriately defined value, expressed in terms of currency to be realized by the sale of assets, in which the opinion is generated from lists and/or other informational materials supplied to the appraiser and evaluated without the benefit of an actual on-site inspection. This opinion is not recommended for use in credit decisions. An uninspected appraisal should be used to determine the need for an appraisal or the scope of an appraisal. Definition of value in accordance with the Association of Machinery and Equipment (AMEA) Appraisers Standards and Procedures of Professional Appraisal Ethics and Practice as well as the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).
